As a church, we are to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16) in our city. As light, we are to expose or push darkness back, transforming it, and renewing it by the power of the Gospel. Ultimately, our power is in Jesus, as the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18) and He takes what is broken and redeems it; He meets people where they are at and calls them out of darkness and into light.

Additionally, as salt and light, we believe that we are missionaries to where ever we are. For us, that's in the heart of McAllen in the Arts and Historic district and its surrounding community. We have chosen to partner with several organizations in our city to help you easily jump in and serve alongside them as we seek the renewal and restoration of our city together.
