Antioch Student Ministry
Acts 11 and 13 records that the city of Antioch was central to the formation and development of believers. In fact, it was in Antioch that members of “the way” were first called Christians and for the first 300 years of the church, Antioch was a hub for discipleship and formation for Christians. We chose the name Antioch to serve as a witness to the foundation of our faith in Christ and it is the gospel that this generation’s youth desperately needs.
This generation is widely connected and creative, but also anxious and lonely; longing for meaningful relationships to help them navigate life. Our aim is to disciple students with the gospel so they know and love Jesus, their families, and their community.
Robert Bernal, our Associate Director, leads our student ministry with a team of volunteer leaders. Antioch Students is for those in 6th-12th grade and meet twice a month at the church on Wednesday evenings.
Students and leaders will connect through games, time in the Word, and relationship-building activities. If you would like more information about Antioch Students, please email rob@storehousemcallen.com.
